Athlete Testimonials

I can’t say enough about the Bridge program and working with Mitch in general. I’ve been through PT several times in my life now and Mitch’s attention to detail and the care he gives to explain why we are doing certain exercises is second to none. As a 30 year old who tore their Achilles I was nervous even at the end of my PT program that I may not ever get back to 100%. The program was exactly what I needed, and propelled me to levels of overall fitness that I think are even higher than my pre-injury self.

The program helps to improve not only physical issues from top to bottom, but also helps mentally and with nutrition as well. I’m sleeping better, recovering better, and performing better. Thank you, Mitch

“I enrolled in the Bridge 2 Performance program once I graduated from physical therapy. It was the perfect “bridge” to get back into my normal (now improved) routine after being out for so long during recovery. The program focuses on whole-body wellness including physical goals, nutrition, water intake, mental health, and more. The goals and weekly plans were realistic and prescriptive to my needs and I was able to see growth in all areas of my life. By the end, I felt more confident with planning my own strength training beyond the program using the routines and exercises completed throughout the 12 weeks. I couldn’t have asked for a better physical therapist or B2P coach than Mitch. Want to get started but don’t know where or how? Start here.”

Thanks for everything , you have added extra motivation to my workouts and energized my passion for fitness . For that I cannot express my appreciation enough . It felt great to be able to see my actual gains as a result of my hard work . Great experience ! You’re the best !

I started the Bridge 2 Performance program right after completing my physical therapy for a previous knee injury. I enjoyed the routine and strength I was gaining from PT and wanted to continue that momentum. I had worked with Mitch during my physical therapy and was excited to learn I could continue working with him throughout the Bridge program.

My main goal was to gain enough knowledge about strength training and building healthy habits to continue on my own after the program. After discussing this with Mitch and completing a performance and movement assessment, Mitch was able to build me an individualized workout plan that would help me achieve my goals.

The program was set up in a way for me to safely achieve my goals by incrementally tackling strength challenges. This gave me enough time to gain the knowledge, terminology, and confidence I needed before moving to the next level. Mitch also helped me put together training plans for me to continue onmy own outside of the Bridge program.

I am thankful for the Bridge 2 Performance program and for Mitch for helping me. I was not only able to fully recover from my injury but also gain the confidence and strength I need to continue performing my best

The bridge to performance program was very helpful to me. Mitch is a great trainer and a great person to build a relationship with in the gym. He made a plan specifically for me to hit all my goals. Not only was I able to keep rehabbing my shoulder I was able to get a lot stronger the right way. We focused a lot on the little things to make sure we hit all our workouts properly. The bridge to performance program is a great program for anyone who would like to get in great game ready shape as well as continue rehabbing and injury. I would highly recommend this program.

The bridge program really covers that gap from the end of PT to the confident athlete returning to their sport.  If your desire is to return to the field, court… BETTER than you were prior to injury, I highly recommend this program.  Mitch and his team are meticulous, caring and hard working.  You will definitely see improvement from the start of the program to the end of the program while likely returning to your sport as a more confident, stronger athlete!

The Bridge 2 Performace program was a seamless transition from injury resolution to whole health. I completed physical therapy for a minor injury sustained while running, and although my injury was healed, I needed help to build back to my previous level of athletic performance. The Bridge 2 Performance program provided targeted strength training, education in injury prevention, and personal, goal-focused improvements in overall health including nutrition, sleep, and mindfulness. I have confidence that I now have the tools to not only prevent re-injury, but to maintain and improve my athletic performance.

I was very pleased with my experience with bridge to performance, to start I felt very welcomed by the staff and I was able to build a strong personal relationship with Mitch. I was not only learning how to exercise correctly but we also discussed nutrition and how to help reach your full potential outside of training too. Mitch created an individualized program specifically for me and he corrected and adjusted small things along the way as well to make sure the program was working perfectly for me. He was able to work with me 1 on 1 every session and made sure I was correctly doing each workout. He would pay attention to everything from the proper weight to using the proper mechanics as I went along. He worked with me on a knee injury prior to bridge to performance so he was able to assess the movement of my knee as I did each workout. Overall, I was very happy to have worked with Mitch and I saw improvements each week as I trained. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to better themselves in the offseason.

The Bridge 2 Performance program offered by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at Bo Jackson’s Elite  Sports has been a game changer for my son, Maddox.  Having suffered an injury early in his football season, we were uncertain of Maddox’s chances to play the football season and the upcoming baseball season.  With the help of Mitch Therriault and the Bridge 2 Performance program, Maddox recovered from his injury, played nearly the full football season, and then transitioned to baseball.  Mitch recommended Maddox for the Bridge 2 Performance program after he completed physical therapy to help assist him continue to rebuild his strength and endurance from his earlier injury.  Working with Maddox on a weekly basis, Mitch helped Maddox set and achieve goals inclusive of physical training, nutritional awareness, and overall healthy choices.  The Bridge 2 Performance program works with individuals to help athletes achieve their goals through guided physical and nutritional recommendations and leadership with a one to one ratio.  Baseline measurements and assessments are recorded, goals are set, managed, and maintained, all while personal attention and individual instruction are consistently and professionally offered.  The time Maddox spent working with Mitch Therriault has helped him to understand how to reach his goals while taking the best care of himself.  The 12 week program is specifically designed to help athletes who have been injured return to full play and avoid future injury; Mitch Therriault and the Bridge 2 Performance Program have helped Maddox accomplish that goal and beyond.  The nutritional and physical training my son has gained has changed his lifestyle choices for the better.  We have seen Maddox’s recovery and great improvement due to the Bridge 2 Performance program.  We look forward to Maddox continuing his training through The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports.

The road of life can be very bumpy at times. A seemingly devastating knee injury can certainly put one in a ditch. Mitch and his dedicated team at OSU Wexner Medical Center @ BJES were there for me. As each session built upon the previous, Mitch skillfully guided me through the physical and mental challenges and hurdles of each progression on the road to recovery. Knowing when to push me and when to pull back, Mitch orchestrated a healing process I didn’t know was possible. I am eternally grateful to him for the deep level of care and encouragement he displayed throughout my rehab journey.  From physical therapy to the Bridge 2 Performance program I could not be more pleased with the care I received.
