We are excited to announce that the Chicago Cheetahs are coming to central Ohio and will compete as the Columbus, Cheetahs. The Chicago Cheetahs have been Premier Travel Softball organization for over 10 years. Combining player development and high-level tournaments, they have had tremendous success helping their players reach their goals of playing college softball. The Columbus Cheetahs will train at Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports.
Tryout Information

Tryout Details:
All tryouts are 6:30-9pm. Check in will start at 6pm for each tryout.
All tryouts will be held at Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports – Columbus:

- 5+ years of coaching experience at high level travel and high school softball
- A college-style approach to practices and roster management
- Focus on defense and baserunning.
- Goal is to strengthen player communication, game IQ and processing speed. Focusing away from local trophies and more towards developing players to play at their future school.

Megan DuPerow
- Joined the Columbus Cheetahs in 2025 as the Head Coach of the organization’s inaugural 16U team following the expansion of the Chicago Cheetahs into Central Ohio
- For more than 20 years, Megan has built a reputation as a dedicated coach and instructor, working with athletes ages 8–18 throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.
- Played collegiately at Marietta College where she was a four-year outfielder
- Passionate about helping players maximize their potential both on and off the field through skill development, mentorship, and a commitment to excellence
